FASHION AND STYLE WITH LONDON BASED SINGER NABERAY NOIRE

It’s one thing to have a talent it’s another thing to really study and research  what you love. Naberay Noire is a London based model and singer. Originally from Sierra Leone. Her beauty is undeniable. She is fabulous in three ways, her style, her beauty and brains. When it comes to dressing, she’s always on point. She’s keeping it real right here on HOUSE OF MALIQ.

 Inspiration-God and my mother.

Fashion-To me fashion is self expression.

Style-I would describe my style as chic, classy, sophisticated with a touch of sexy.

Signature style-I would not say I had one, but I do appreciate when people dress nice.I really like the 1950's and 1960's era of fashion though. I wear blazers with almost everything, I think it adds an edge and class to an outfit.

Things people do not know about you-I do too much of that lol.(smiles)I also came 2nd runner up for Miss Sierra Leone UK 2004, that was a proud moment.

Favorite designer- Valentino and a couple of African Designers.

Should women shop for what is trendy or what works for them-
Most definitely what works for them.

Has Fashion affected your life style-To some degree it has,but I only follow trends if I feel it works for me, my motto is dress for success, once you look nicely dressed you feel even more confident.

                                                             Runway

                                                                  Runway

Most stylish African celebrity-
This is hard since there's quit a few.Rita Dominic her style is nice and John Dumelo there is nothing better than a nicely tailored suit.

Never be caught wearing-Long leather/PVC trousers.

Discrimination about skin colour-I personal believe a person looks good on the basis of their features, how their nose goes with their eyes and lips not whether their light or dark skin.

A night out with friends
Do you see yourself becoming a designer- No I don't although I have been told I should, but you never know.

Fashion industry in Siera leone -Its really picking up, Aschobi Designs by Adama Kai is one of my favorite Sierra Leone Designs.I like the way she mixes European Designs with African fabrics/materials.

What makes someone Fashionable-Having your own sense of style and knowing what works best for you.

WWhere do you see yourself in next five years-doing very well as a professional singer and helping those in need

Three words to describe  Naberay Noire -free spirited, funny and chilled

If you weren't a Singer/Model –I would have been a teacher,like my Mother(smiles)

Which artist would you like to work with-I would like to work with Lauryn Hill. She seems like she has a beautiful soul. Also a few 9ja artist and Sierra Leonean ones.

Any challenges-I have not really faced that much challenges yet only that I work full time and joggling both modeling and singing. Its the challenge and can be tiring at times.

Actress Marian Kekurah,American singer Jeremiah and Naberay
Things you would do for your country if you were given the opportunity-That's a hard one (Smiles) well firstly for every child to have a good quality education, to eradicate poverty and most importantly to renew the mindset of some of the people.
I would love to set up an organization in Africa that pays for children's school fees in addition to sponsoring them with lunch money and money for books and other school material.

Advise for upcoming artist-Network as much as possible, any free time write songs, do as much PA'S speak to others in the business and work hard for your dream to become a reality.
