Mariam Adeyemi is a pretty lady who knows the importance of fashion and style. She is a 300 level student of University of Abuja, Studying Political science. Also a model and currently working for Dakova (the popular designer) as a public relation officer and manager. Marian Adeyemi always loves to keep it classy and sweet.She is extremely passionate about her dream.Mariam is ready to take her career to the next level as she works on having her own public relation company in the nearest future.Here on HOUSE OF MALIQ she talks about fashion and style.

Inspiration-? That’s a very good question. I get inspired by lots of things around me. My mum is one huge inspiration. She’s got a great fashion style, strength and confident to get things she wants. And I think that's what am following. I always find a way to get whatever I want without a doubt because I don't take no for an answer.

In your own opinion what is fashion-? There are so many way to express Fashion. it’s should be something you feel comfortable in and also it should be able to express ones Sexuality, style, confidence and lots more. Well I believe what one wears sometimes might not determine who you are but what u like wearing. Different people with different style. But I believe one should wear what u feel confident in.

Your Style-? I will describe my personal style to be very major but not just major but majorHOTT with a double "TT". (laughing) My style is sexy, classy and me. Whatever I wear is what I feel comfortable in. I try as much as possible not to imitate anyone’s style because it might turn out to be a disaster (laughing) I love being me and I don't fake it.

Signature style-? My signature style is very different from others. My best colour is black. I love wearing leggings, tan tops, dresses, jacket and I love Gold Accessories. I believe accessories plays an important role in fashion. With good combination of accessories the simplest outfit can come out really glamorous. I love high heels and handbags. Less I forget I don't joke with my hair. I make sure I always look good because presentation matters a lot to me.

Beauty routine-? My beauty routine starts from when I want to have my shower. First I use pure and fresh honey on my body for 10min then I make sure I used warm water to wash my body which will contain spa olive salt for anti wrinkle, moisturizers and it makes d skin smooth. I love Olay products. I use Olay soap and the moisturizing cream. When it comes to make up, am a Good fan of IMAN products. For my foundation and shimmer powder imam. I put on a simple make up during d day and sometimes at night. I believe the simpler you look the more attractive people see you. You don’t want go around too heavy and people won't see your real beauty. Then I just put on what I feel comfortable in.

Shopping-? I do my shopping mostly from friends that sell cloths, bags and shoes. But a very good friend of mine sells most of the outfit that suit my style (Geraldine Ejiofor) she have eyes for good cloths.

Signature fragrance-? My signature Fragrance is mostly Bulgaria Rose, Coco Chanel.

Style icon-? I have lots of style icons but I just pick from their different style and I combine it and make it my own style. Tara Banks, Jennifer Lopez, Kim kardashian, and lots more.

My favorite fashion accessories-? My Gold accessories and shoes (I love my Christiana loubotine shoes) and handbags.

Who and what has been your greatest fashion influence-? Adeola Siego. I really appreciate her style in African fashion industry and also she has really done well.

Things you save money on-? Something that will definitely benefit my future.We all live for tomorrow.

What do you think about shoes especially heels-? That's my second language (laughing) Am a shoe person. I love very high heels. I think I actually have more of high heel shoes than flat sandals and slippers. Which I think it’s quite funny. (laughing) but all the same I just feel very comfortable, good, sexy in very high heel Shoes.

Tell us a secret-? The funniest thing is that I have no secret. Am very transparent. I have nothing to hide because there is nothing in this world that is to be hidden.

What is a guy’s fashion trend that confuses you-? Guys that like wearing feminine colours.

What Word do you live by-? The word I live for is what the founder of my high school (Tai Solarin)taught me."Great things must be done greatly with a great mind, great courage and a great persistence patience" This words is what I live by and what is keeping me going.

Most ladies complain about their look. What is your definition of happiness-? My definition of my happiness is to do things accordingly in God's way and also doing things that will make you happy by not impressing anybody.

What items do you normally have in your bag-? My mini makeup kits.

What can you never be caught wearing-? I can never be caught wearing my facial mask.

If you had the opportunity to meet someone dead or alive that would that be-? Oprah Winfrey and Michael Jackson.

Internationally Kim kardashian.

What makes a woman beautiful-? To me a woman has to believe she is beautiful from within. A woman should hold herself very high to the extreme. The way a woman sees herself is the same way other people will see her.

How do you like your red carpet look-? Classy and sexy.

Fashion advice-? I believe Fashion as to come from within. One should wear what u feel comfortable, sexy, confident, smart and gorgeous in. And it’s not about what u wear but how you carry yourself. You can turn a cheap knock off outfit into an expensive gorgeous outfit with a confident look.
