The 27-year-old model had sworn off dating musicians after her romance with Kanye West failed, but she couldn't resist the advances of fellow Pittsburgh native Khalifa after they met during a fitness trip to Los Angeles' Runyon Canyon Park. Rose tells King magazine the meeting came about after she agreed to give the 23-year-old rapper a pair of sunglasses custom made by a company she endorses.

"He calls and tells me he's in L.A. and can he come and get the shades? I told him I'm about to go to Runyon and work out... He says he has the day off, so I told him he could come to Runyon with me, because I'm going by myself. It would be cool to have some company.

"We hung out, we were friends... I chilled with him for two weeks. We didn't kiss or nothing. Then he left for Pittsburgh, and when he left I was so lost without him.

"We talked on the phone constantly, and that's when we realized we were falling for each other. And I was like, 'When this young boy gets back from Pittsburgh, he is definitely getting some.'"
